What Customer Information do we collect?
There are a number of instances where you may give Cottage Central personal details for example, email address, name, address, telephone number and details of gender and age of people in your party. 

This may be done by raising an enquiry with Cottage Central, making a booking, signing up for the Cottage Central newsletter.  We will also collect non personal information such as IP address when you visit our site.

Disclosure of Information?
Cottage Central does not disclose any personal information to any third party other than cottage owners unless required to do so by law. 

If you make an enquiry or provisional booking with us we will pass the information we collect to the relevant cottage owner so that the enquiry can be answered or the booking confirmed.  This information will consist of name, address, ages, gender of all the people in the party.

We do not make any information about you available to anyone else.

How do we use the information we collect?
Non personal information such as IP address is used to allow us to evaluate use of the Cottage Central website, the cottages and sections visited so that we can continually improve the site and our marketing and promotion. 

If you subscribe to our  newsletters we will communicate with you periodically to keep you fully informed of news and promotions from Cottage Central. 

You can unsubscribe at any time from that service.  We may use your email address to keep you informed periodically of special promotions and changes to Cottage Central as a valued customer.

Cottage Central website contains links to other websites which you may use from time to time.  Cottage Central cannot accept any responsibility for the privacy policy or information collected on those sites.  It is therefore the users responsibility to check out the privacy policy on those sites for themselves.

Data Protection
Under data protection legislation you are entitled to see any personal information that Cottage Central holds in relation to yourself.  Should you wish to exercise this right you must put your request in writing to Cottage Central.  Please send all requests to the Cottage Central through our contact form.
